Terms and conditions Please read the following carefully. We strongly advise you to print a copy of these terms for future reference.
Ordering and acceptance procedure
We do not accept orders from the United States of America. We offer 'same day' delivery for orders taken up to 3pm on day of delivery. We currently cannot deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
The flowers offered on this web site are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order request in whole or in part.
Should the flowers you order not be available we will use our reasonable endeavours to inform you at the time of order or before despatch at which time you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order. Alternatively we will arrange for a product of equal or higher value to be sent.
We will process your order once we have a completed order form and we have received your payment. Where possible we prefer at least 48 hours notice of your order.
We can send you an e-mail or postal confirmation of our acceptance of the order including the product, price, recipient's address and delivery date on request.
Please check that the confirmation details are correct.
Price
Any quotation is given on the basis that no contract will come into existence until we make verbal, email or postal acknowledgement of the order.
A delivery charge of £4.95 is added to every order.
Payment
We accept most major credit and debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro/Switch, Solo, Delta and Visa Electron.
Your credit/debit card details are encrypted before transmission.
Delivery
We will notify you of delivery date ("the Delivery Date") on acceptance of your order.
Our normal method of delivery is by local florist.
Alternative methods of delivery for our same day service is by courier or taxi.
For delivery any accepted order is subject to the following:
- A delivery is interpreted as an attempted delivery by us (or our delivery company). We do not accept liability for delay in the event there is no-one to
receive the bouquet at the delivery address.
- You must order your bouquet before the cut-off time. The cut-off time for each bouquet will be provided by our call centre and is also on the web site next
to the product selection.
- You are responsible for correctly providing details of the delivery address.
If you place an order with us after the cut-off time, your order will be considered as if it had been placed prior to the cut-off time the following day.
We cannot accept orders more than a year prior to delivery. We use reputable delivery companies who take care of their fragile cargo. However, in the unlikely event your
flowers are damaged in any way please retain the flowers and contact us within 24 hours (Monday to Sunday) of receipt. We do not accept liability for any such claim unless
you advise us within this time period.
Guarantee
For our same day and next day service, each bouquet is hand selected by one of our network of florists who will use only the best grade flowers available and carefully
pack them on the day of delivery. We guarantee the supply of high quality flowers, which will last a minimum of five days from delivery provided that you adhere to the
care information below without limitation:
- Fill a clean vase with fresh cold water and the correct amount of flower food.
- Cut stem ends at an angle with a sharp knife.
- Remove all leaves which will be below water level.
- Check the water level daily; replace with fresh water and flower food if necessary.
- Do not place your flowers in a draught or near any source of heat or ripening fruit (all of which will reduce the vase life of your flowers).
In the unlikely event you are not entirely satisfied with your order please contact us, within five days of receiving the flowers, on 0800 FLOWERS (0800 356 937)
or e-mail us using this form and we will arrange a replacement delivery or a voucher for use against a future order. We reserve
the right to inspect and analyse the original delivery. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Limitation of liability
We do not accept liability for any indirect loss, loss of enjoyment, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or economic loss whatsoever other than death or personal injury
resulting from proven negligence on our part.
Age Restrictions
It is against the law to sell or indeed supply intoxicating substances to persons under 18 years of age in the UK. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least
18 years old. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.
Cancellation
We require at least two working days notice (48hrs - Monday to Friday, excluding bank Holidays) of order amendment or cancellation prior to the Delivery Date.
Security
Our secure socket layer (SSL) encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you
enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card we will cover your liability up to £50.00. Subject to the following:
- your bank or card issuer holds you liable for the amount claimed
- the unauthorised use of your credit or debit card is as a direct result of purchases made at 0800flowers.com whilst using the secure server

- our liability is limited to £50.00
